Privacy Policy

The short version

You don't need an account to use DashCamRankers, we don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't sell data.

What we process

• Server logs: our host (IONOS) records standard technical logs such as IP address, browser and pages requested, to run and secure the site.
• Your Dash Cam Battle picks: saved only in your own browser's local storage so your comparison survives a refresh. They never leave your device. Clear them with the Clear button or your browser settings.
• Emails you send us: used to reply, then kept only as long as needed.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or object to its use. Email privacy@dashcamrankers.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

If we add features that collect more data (such as owner reviews or a newsletter), we'll update this page first and ask for consent where the law requires it.
