How we picked
A rear camera included in the standard UK kit (not sold as an add-on). Then they're ranked by spec score — built only from specs confirmed on each maker's official pages. How scores work.
What to look for
- Check the rear camera's resolution as well as the front's — many are 1080p.
- Rear cables are long; plan the route along the headliner and pillars before you start. See How to install a dash cam.
- Two cameras roughly halve recording time on the same card, so size up.
